Artist Statement

I am drawn to ephemeral moments that evoke the timeless qualities of my nature subjects. I cherish the instant when the lightscape contains clues to transcendental as well as physical reality; suggestions of our interchange with the non-human.
My artworks are meant as embodiments of the sensory and subconscious experience in which I was immersed at the time of the original photographic exposure. I influence the perception of my conceived reality through the use of contemporary tools and techniques, as well as various media chosen for the specific properties I find useful to the realization of my vision.

John Radigan     Biography

John Radigan was born and resides in Wickliffe, Ohio. He is an artist, lecturer and workshop instructor respected for his penetrating photographs and captivating print interpretations of nature’s wonders. His artworks draw on sensibilities developed through years of creative experience in music, writing, and photography in revealing the inner song, the cry of our true nature that awakens in the presence of wildness.

He leads workshops throughout the year for various organizations including the Adirondack Photography Institute, Santa Fe Workshops, Cleveland Botanical Garden and Franklin Park Conservatory, enthusiastically sharing a wealth of practical experience while guiding participants in the process of uncovering, nurturing and expressing their own unique vision of the world. His informative and entertaining lectures explore the richness of the human/nature relationship through compelling imagery and thoughtful discourse.

John’s work has received many awards and been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in venues such as Cleveland Botanical Garden (Cleveland, Ohio); Lake Placid Center for the Arts (Lake Placid, New York); Lake Metroparks (Kirtland, Ohio); Arts Center/Old Forge (Old Forge, New York); and the Fine Arts Association (Willoughby, Ohio). I touched my first camera in 1979, that's what started my love and passion for photography.

Today I run a business called Northeast head shot factory. I photograph actors, models, singers and aspiring actors.

I relax by photographing what I, call  Small Landscapes.

Michael F. Nekic

My name is Lee Peters and, while I have had no formal education in photography I have been taking pictures for over 50 years, my time behind the lens beginning when I was but a  wee  pup. A little over ten years ago I joined the Euclid Art Association and have won five first place awards and five second place awards for photography at our Spring Fine Arts show at the Euclid Public Library, as well as winning awards at the Lakeland College Fine arts shows held in conjunction with the Euclid Art Association. I have been in the East Shore Invitational Art Show and Sale and the Lakeland Community College May Show, and have exhibited at the Euclid Public Library Community Gallery and the Willoughby Hills Community Center Gallery.

In spite of the fact that I can't draw a stick figure to save my life, I was elected President of the Euclid Art Association in 2009 and it has been my honor to serve in that capacity to this day.

All my images are for sale in a variety of sizes and prices, starting at $20.00 for a matted and mounted 8x10 to a framed 16x20 image such as the one on exhibit here for $250.
